Ghanaian Gospel musician and pastor, Sonnie Badu has given tips for having successful friendships and relationships.
Speaking in a video shared on Instagram, the popular Gospel musician stated that friendship and relationships are always transactional.
He advised people to learn to give, stressing that always being at the receiving end has its consequences.
“Friendship and relationships are always transactional. If you give, they take, and if they give you also take. If you have lost friends or people around suddenly don’t pick up your call then it simply means they have been giving and you don’t give back,” Badu averred.
He, however, clarified money should not take the center stage of relationships.
The ‘Baba’ singer emphasised that when a relationship is built on quality time and commitment, it lasts forever.
“You don’t have to give money, sometimes your time, commitments and counsel are something you have and can also be given. So whenever you get any friend that you see yourself lasting with, always understand the philosophy of friendship,” Sonnie Badu stated.
