Amid the ongoing social media controversy between gospel musician Empress Gifty and actress Nana Ama McBrown, Evangelist Diana Asamoah has shared her thoughts on the issue.

In an Instagram post shared on August 28, 2025, Diana Asamoah said she has observed that the tension between the two might be staged.

She explained that it’s possible they orchestrated the drama for merely publicity.

“Nana Ama had her accident before she joined UTV. There is no real feud between them. For all you know, they planned the whole thing, because both of them understand showbiz. Maybe they just want to trend,” she said.

Diana Asamoah went on to state that while the situation may have been staged, she does not believe Empress Gifty would ever mock Nana Ama McBrown.

“Those of you spreading rumours that Empress Gifty is jabbing Nana Ama are children of the devil. How can you waste airtime and fuel this issue just for content creation? Empress Gifty wouldn’t do such a thing, and I don’t believe Nana Ama would even think the comments are directed at her,” she added.
