Dreams FC have confirmed the departure of assistant coach Fiifi Parker Hanson following a brief spell with the club.

In an official statement, the “Still Believe” side announced that Hanson has stepped down from his role after expressing his desire to return to his struggling Division Two League club.

The club confirmed that his letter of resignation has been accepted by management.

“Coach Hanson expressed his desire to return to his struggling Division Two club in his letter of resignation which has since been accepted by Management,” the statement read.

“The club places on record its thanks to the departed coach and wishes him the very best of luck,” the statement added.

Hanson joined Dreams ahead of the 2025/26 football season as Assistant Coach One, arriving from Division One League side Golden Kicks FC.

However, his stay at the club was short-lived, with sources indicating that the two parties mutually agreed to part ways following some internal issues.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands that Hanson formally submitted his resignation on Friday, January 23, 2026, evening to Dreams management, and the decision was subsequently communicated to the playing body.

Dreams have since opted to continue the season with former Legon Cities assistant coach Saeed Adnan, who will work alongside Winfred Dormon as the club looks to stabilise its technical bench for the remainder of the campaign.
