In a tweet that has sparked debate online, X (Twitter) influencer Amber has opened up about her difficult experience with her family.

She had advised via a tweet that people should not consider putting family first, but instead, they should look after themselves first.

    She wrote,

“Whatever you are doing in life, please don’t consider family first because mine almost rendered me useless. I know what has been going through my mind over the past month. Always look after yourself first and do the little you can for your family.”

Amber’s message resonated with many who have struggled with complicated family dynamics, but it also drew criticism from followers who felt she was generalizing.

    One follower responded,

“You generalizing and making it seem everyone’s family is possibly like yours is where the issues are, for those who still have good ones to hold onto? Do not listen to this! Good morning to you, Amber, and I hope you someday find peace from the hurt your own family’s done to you.”

Amber replied, acknowledging different perspectives while standing by her experience.

“I believe most of us experience even more, but don’t have a way to voice out. I understand how you feel about my opinion, but it is just how I feel.”

The post has since continued to spark mixed reactions, with many sharing their own experiences about family and self-care.
