Puka Nacua was left covered in blood after running into a glass door at a lavish white party hosted by billionaire Michael Rubin.
The Los Angeles Rams superstar appeared on the Impaulsive podcast with Logan Paul where details of the incident came to light. Nacua said he was distracted and was unaware of a freshly cleaned glass pane in front of him.
‘Uh, the glass window pane won,’ Nacua said, explaining he was trying to find Snoop Dogg in the Hamptons mansion at the time.
‘It was Snoop Dogg! I was so excited. I was sitting there talking to Suni Lee, and then I had to go find where Davante [Adams] was at. I turned around and I’m like, “They cleaned the windows really good.”‘
Logan Paul added: ‘You were in the corner, and you were bleeding from your face. And then I realized, oh, you must have run into this glass panel because I can’t even see it, and I’m standing right next to it. This is dangerous.’
Nacua did not realize how he was cut initially, but later realized he was not the only guest to fall victim of the hard-to-spot glass pane.

‘They made me feel better when they said three other people ran into it,’ Nacua said. ‘But nobody else ended up bleeding from it. So I don’t know if that made me feel much better or worse.’
The star-studded White Party has become a huge event hosted by Rubin at his mansion in The Hamptons. Numerous celebrities attend the event each year put on by the Fanatics founder, who has a net worth of $9.6billion, per Forbes.
One NFL icon who does not attend is Aaron Rodgers, who joked on The Pat McAfee Show last week: ‘I’m not gonna be out there doing a podcast [when he retires], chasing down weird parties on the East Coast, wearing white.’
Nacua picked up another injury this week, leaving practice in mysterious circumstances with head coach Sean McVay unsure of the cause. It later emerged he had a ‘minor’ groin problem as he also missed Thursday’s session.
The 25-year-old has had a turbulent offseason, being accused of biting a woman on the shoulder and making an ‘unprovoked’ antisemitic statement during a drunken New Year’s Eve encounter.
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter claimed earlier this week that Nacua, who also checked into rehab during the offseason, could face a possible league suspension over the matter.

The update comes after Nacua was accused of biting a woman on the shoulder and making an ‘unprovoked’ antisemitic statement during a drunken encounter on New Year’s Eve.
Earlier on Tuesday, it was revealed by ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that the Rams star could face a potential suspension over the matter.
‘Right now, there are some things going on behind closed doors that we don’t have full access to, that are going to have a significant impact on the season, depending on how these conversations go,’ Schefter said.
‘And what I’m talking about is the potential discipline of a handful of players that we believe will be handed down – whatever it is – by the start of the regular season.
‘Cases that I believe are now being reviewed include that of Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua, who could face discipline for some of the offseason headlined that accompanied him.’
‘It’s possible that when the Niners and Rams play in Australia, it’s within the realm of options that Puka doesn’t play in that game.’
Nacua opened up on his journey of self-reflection in May after his time in rehab, revealing it provided ‘a moment for me to learn from some of the situations I was putting myself in and then also having just an awareness of how I’m conducting myself in and out of this football field.’

He also revealed that he has worked with a Rams therapist and attended unspecified weekly meetings in recent months while trying to improve the structure of his day-to-day life.
‘Little did I know that even just writing in a journal, as simple as that, and finding ways to express some of the things I have near and dear to my heart… it’s been a great improvement in my life,’ Nacua said.
‘I’ve been really grateful for the support from the organization, especially my teammates. People reaching out at different times of the offseason, just checking in.
‘Some of the things I feel like I’ve learned is it’s OK to ask for support and then to recognize the platform that I have and being a professional football player and trying to use that for the betterment of myself and for those around me.’
