The chairman of the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of Asante Kotoko, Nana Apinkrah Akwasi Awuah, has cautioned that there will be changes if the club fails to win their upcoming games.

Kotoko, after suffering a 3-1 loss against Heart of Lions last weekend at the Kpando Sports Stadium, will host Aduana FC in the FA Cup Round of 16 games on Sunday, February 8, at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Reds will again host their bitterest rivals, Hearts of Oak, in the Matchday 22 games next weekend in the Ghana Premier League.

Now sitting 5th on the league table with 34 points, Nana Apinkrah has cautioned that changes will happen within the technical team and the playing body should they fail to win these two games.

“If we fail to beat Aduana FC and Hearts of Oak, major changes will occur within the team, including the players, technical staff, and management,” he said as reported by Akoma FM.

Asante Kotoko are the defending champions of the FA Cup.
