Black Princesses of Ghana have been drawn in Group C of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup alongside France, South Korea and Ecuador.

The draw for the tournament was held on Friday, May 15, in Lodz, Poland, with Ghana discovering their opponents for the global showpiece scheduled for September 5–27, 2026.

The Black Princesses secured qualification after defeating Uganda 3-2 on aggregate in the final qualifying round. Ghana won the first leg 2-1 in Accra before earning a 1-1 draw in Kampala to qualify for the tournament for the eighth consecutive time.

Ghana now faces a difficult task in Group C against European giants France, Asian powerhouse South Korea and South American side Ecuador as they aim to reach the knockout stages for the first time.

Elsewhere, reigning champions North Korea headline Group E alongside Portugal, Costa Rica and Colombia. Three-time champions United States are in Group D with Japan, New Zealand and Italy, while another giants Germany surprisingly failed to qualify for the competition.

Africa will have four representatives at the tournament — Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania and Benin. Tanzania have been placed in Group B alongside Brazil, Canada and England, while Benin will compete in Group A with hosts Poland, Argentina and Mexico.

Below is the full group stage draw:
