The Big Brother star who was jailed after helping her boyfriend in a petrol bomb attack in a busy nightclub has been released early in time for Christmas – having served less than a tenth of her sentence.

Simone Reed, 37, was pictured holding several large B&M shopping bags this week.

The star, who featured on reality television show Big Brother in 2017, drove to a  garage to buy petrol for a Molotov cocktail before her partner Carl Wild threw the firebomb at a man’s head and set him alight.

The pair were seen kissing and hugging at the petrol station as they bought the fuel to make the weapon for the attack.

While outside the nightclub in Redcar, North Yorkshire, on February 15, the couple became embroiled in a violent row with a man, David Brotton.

They were just feet away from the victim when the makeshift weapon was thrown at him outside a bar, instantly setting his head aflame.

Reed, a glamour model, burst into tears in court when she was jailed for two years and four months in October.

But just two months later she has been released in time to enjoy Christmas celebrations with her family.

The mother-of-five was photographed with piles of presents in bags from discount store B&M.

She then posted on Facebook: ‘Merry Christmas – back home with my babies. 2026 is going to be our year.’

The mother also appeared to boast about her short sentence, The Sun reported, replying to a message from a friend: ‘I only did 11 weeks, it flew.’

The day before her case, Reed posted online about getting a boob job. ‘Best place to go for getting your boobs done?’ she wrote.

Reed admitted assisting an intended arson and was sentenced on October 9 this year.

Now, she has been released on Home Detention Curfew (HDC) with an electronically monitored curfew.

Wild was sentenced to 13 and a half years in jail.

Prisoners are eligible for HDC after serving half of their custodial sentence. Reed’s time on bail with a tag before she was imprisoned counts towards this time.

A Ministry of Justice spokesperson said: ‘Anyone released into Home Detention Curfew faces strict licence conditions and must be tagged.

‘Those who break the rules can be returned to prison.’
