Ghanaian gospel musician Piesie Esther has cautioned men against the risky habit of taking home women they barely know, warning that such actions can have serious spiritual and legal consequences.

Speaking in an interview on Okay FM on October 30, 2025, the award-winning gospel singer expressed concern over how some men pick up strangers from clubs, streets, or events for one-night encounters without considering the potential dangers.

“Some men have a habit of engaging in dangerous situations. A man can meet a lady he doesn’t know from anywhere, at a club or on the street, and take her to his house that very night. That is very daring,” she said.

Piesie Esther noted that beyond the physical risks, there are also spiritual implications to such behavior.

“You wouldn’t know if that person is a witch, a ghost, a snake, or even a marine spirit. Not every woman has good energy. When such people come close to you, things can start going wrong, you may lose everything,” she cautioned.

She further warned that such reckless actions could also have legal repercussions.

“What if you pick up a lady you know nothing about, and she dies in your bed? How would you explain yourself?” she questioned.

The award-winning gospel musician advised men to exercise discretion and self-control in their interactions, stressing that “not every woman is meant to be taken home.”
