The late Daddy Lumba is a Ghanaian Highlife legend

The Bank Hospital has denied claims made by socialite Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, popularly known as Afia Schwarzenegger, that the facility did not treat the late Highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu, also known as Daddy Lumba, with professionalism prior to his death.

In a press statement released on July 30, 2025, the hospital labelled Afia Schwarzenegger’s claims as false and clarified that the late musician received professional and dignified medical care during his time at the facility.

The response came after Afia Schwarzenegger took to social media to allege that the hospital mishandled aspects of Daddy Lumba’s health care and breached confidentiality.

The Bank Hospital refuted such accusations.

According to them, there was no breach of medical privacy or any violation of patient confidentiality.

They noted that Daddy Lumba’s care was managed with full professionalism and that his family was informed and involved throughout the entire process.
