Asante Kotoko have confirmed the signing of former Aduana Stars striker Isaac Mintah.

The 26-year-old signed a two-and-a-half-year deal to join the Porcupine Warriors in the January transfer window.

Mintah arrives with a wealth of experience in the Ghana Premier League, having previously played for Legon Cities and Aduana Stars.

“I’m so happy to join Kotoko; it’s a huge moment in my career. This club has a strong winning mentality, and I’m ready to be part of that,” said the striker.

“I know there’s a lot of competition for places here, especially in the attacking areas, but that only motivates me to push harder and improve every day. I’m here to give my best, help the team, and contribute to the success of this great club,” he added.

His arrival boosts Kotoko’s already star-studded forward, having signed Kwame Opoku and Sampson Eduku all within the same window.

Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum expressed delight following the competition of the move.

“Isaac is an exceptional forward who knows how to make things happen in the final third. His eye for goal and ability to link up with teammates make him a perfect fit for our style of play. We’re excited to have him on board and look forward to seeing him do well for us,” he said.
