Kawabanga, a member of the Asakaa music group, has attributed the group’s decline in making significant impact to a lack of unity.

In an interview on Rants, Bants and Confession, the “Akatafoc” hitmaker emphasised that the group has been struggling with decision-making due to internal divisions.

“It got to a point where they didn’t involve me in decision-making. Unity wasn’t in the group, and they were even preventing me from bringing my old friends into the trap house, meanwhile, they were doing the same thing.

“Some people within the group didn’t want us to grant interviews even though our presence was needed in the media space,” he said.

Despite these challenges, Kawabanga expressed his willingness to reconcile with his fellow group members.

“Honestly, I don’t have a problem with anyone in the group. I am ready to settle our differences and continue making music together,” he stated.

The Asakaa music group rose to prominence in 2021 with hit songs such as “Agyeiwaa,” “Ayehuhu,” “Yeye Dom” and many others.
