At the 42nd minute of a 55‑minute interview, Delay posed a series of questions to her guest, Ama Yeboah, in the presence of her mother, ‘Obolo,’ that many viewers deemed unwarranted, unfounded, and unprofessional.
“Are you a virgin?” and “What’s your body count?” were among the questions that the public labelled as too personal for live television.
Prior to this, Delay had extensively dissected the struggles of Ama Yeboah, the popular content creator, and her mother, prompting them to share vivid details of their difficult past.
“We used to eat boiled cassava and raw pepper.” “We used to hawk banku and pepper every morning before school.” These revelations painted a vivid picture of their hardships.
Delay then asked another probing question that led to the disclosure that the house Ama Yeboah and her mother currently live in, and use for content creation, actually belongs to Ama’s father’s brother.
Now to the question that sparked major concern:
Looking directly at Ama, who sat beside her mother, Delay pressed further: “You are currently 22 years old. Your mother started giving birth when she was 21. Are you also going to follow her footsteps? Are you a virgin?”
Visibly shaken, Ama responded in a trembling, shy tone: “No, I am not.”
Delay immediately turned to her mother: “Are you aware your daughter is not a virgin?”
Her mother replied, “I’m aware she’s not. My daughters have these types of private discussions with me. They don’t hide these things from me, so I am aware.”
Still probing, Delay asked Ama, “When did you break your virginity?”
Ama answered, “Last year.”
Delay continued, “Who broke your virginity? And who else have you dated or slept with after that? Did the person break your virginity for the fun of it? becuase you said you’re currently not dating.”
Ama declined to reveal, stating, “For this information, I would not want to put it out there.”
Delay then added, “I have even seen people writing on social media that you have started bleaching. You are now the hope of your family, so don’t let any man deceive you, especially these industry guys. When they see you’re famous, they want to take advantage of you. I’m not prying, I just want to advise you.”
Meanwhile, excerpts of the interview have gone viral, with netizens lambasting Delay for asking overly personal and unnecessary questions that left her guests uncomfortable.
Old videos of Delay posing similar questions to past guests also resurfaced online, reinforcing the perception of her controversial interview style, one that many netizens have labelled as unprofessional.
Below are some reactions from netizens

The way some of you are reacting, it’s obvious you don’t really know Delay . She once made Kubolor show his d*ck just to confirm whether he was actually not wearing boxer shorts. Her interviews are always wild she asks questions you’d never expect. That’s exactly why she’s… pic.twitter.com/ALcPuaJRBL
