Renowned sports journalist Veronica Commey has been appointed Deputy Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA).
The seasoned journalist and distinguished member of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) will serve as deputy to Yaw Ampofo Ankrah.
This marks her first public appointment as she has been given the mandate to contribute to the growth of sports in the country.
Veronica Commey is a sports writer as well as a TV and radio broadcaster. She is a BBC contributor and a former contributor for both FIFA and CAF.
She has had an illustrious career in sports journalism, inspiring women to pursue the profession.
She is an alumnus of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
She worked as Chief Sports Journalist at the Ghana News Agency (GNA) before transitioning into freelancing.
