Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has admitted that he is in shock over the massive crowd that filled the Independence Square on October 18, 2025 for ShattaFest.

The event drew tens of thousands of fans from across the country, reaffirming Shatta Wale’s reputation as one of Ghana’s biggest crowd-pullers.

In a video shared by Graphic Showbiz, Shatta Wale visited the offices of Mobile Money Limited (MTN Ghana) on October 20, to express his appreciation for their partnership and support for the concert.

The musician said he was touched by the collaboration with the company and grateful for their role in making the event a success.

“I’m so happy that this time, I got you on one of my shows. It has always been my dream to also work with your entity,” he said.

Shatta Wale noted that although he has always been aware of his fan base, the overwhelming attendance at ShattaFeast exceeded his expectations.

“I’m still shocked at the crowd. Maybe you’ll think I have the following, but God is bringing us together to motivate the youth,” he said.

He also expressed his readiness to continue working with Mobile Money Limited and other corporate partners in the future.

“I’m always available for any collaboration and support that I can also offer your office,” he added.

Shaibu Haruna, CEO of Mobile Money Ghana, shared in Shatta Wale’s amazement at the concert’s success. He admitted that while he knew the artiste had a large fan base, he was stunned by the sheer size of the crowd at Independence Square.

“I had no clue the kind of following you have. I obviously knew you had a powerful following, but this weekend was extra special,” Haruna said.
