Osebo the Zaraman, who identifies as the godson of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, has dispelled rumours of tension among the children of the Kristo Asafo Mission founder.

Speaking in an interview with GhPage during the 40-day observation ceremony held at the University of Ghana Sports Complex on October 20, 2025, Osebo dismissed claims of a feud, stating that the family remains united and focused on preserving their father’s legacy.

According to him, misunderstandings are natural in every family, but they do not amount to conflict.

He explained that the late Apostle Dr Safo Kantanka’s children are united and committed to preserving their late father’s legacy.

“There is not really a fight between the siblings, as some people think. They are not fighting. Even with twins, they sometimes have misunderstandings. It doesn’t mean they will attack each other,” he said.

He added that there is mutual respect and open communication among the siblings, and any existing differences will be addressed in the interest of family unity and the continuation of their late father’s legacy.

He also noted that during the 40-day observance, the children of the late Apostle were seen engaging warmly with one another, a clear indication of harmony within the family.

“The siblings are on good terms. There will be an understanding for the legacy the father (Apostle Kwadwo Safo) left behind to continue working. Everyone who has any misunderstanding with one another will come to terms with each other,” Osebo the Zaraman noted.

Following the passing of Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka on September 14, 2025, reports on social media suggested a rift between his children.

These speculations grew after the family issued a public disclaimer warning the public not to engage in any funeral-related activities with Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena.

The statement clarified that all funeral arrangements and communications concerning the late Apostle were to be handled solely through the family’s designated representatives and approved committees.

Meanwhile, the 40-day observance of the Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo Kantanka brought together family members, friends, church leaders, and followers of the Kristo Asafo Mission, who gathered to celebrate the legacy of the man many regarded as a national treasure for his contributions to innovation, faith, and industry.

The family also seized the occasion to clarify Apostle Safo’s actual age. According to them, he was born on August 26, 1912, and passed away at the age of 113.

This correction came after an earlier record, which listed his birth year as 1948, had put his age at 77 at the time of his passing.
