    Ghanaian hip-hop artiste, Linford Kennedy Amankwaa, popularly known as Ko-Jo Cue has opened up on the authenticity in his music.

    In an interview on Daybreak Hitz on October 6, 2025, Ko-Jo Cue said his music comes from real-life ecounters and emotions.

    According to him, he gets inspiration either through personal experiences or by observing the lives of those around him.

    “Most of my songs are personal experiences and some too are the things that I’ve seen happen around me. It didn’t happen to me but I saw it happen to people that I know” he said.

    He continued, “The way I make music is, it has to be real, it has to come from a real place else I won’t get the emotions right.”

    Sarkodie is the greatest rapper of all time in terms of metrics – Kojo Cue asserts

    Ko-Jo Cue mentioned that he struggles to write fabricated stories in his music, which is why he remains true to his lyrical content.

    “I don’t know how to make up stuffs, I’m not very good at that. Something has to happen for me to pick it from there” he stated.

    When asked if music pays well, Ko-Jo Cue established that it is financially rewarding if done right.

    “Music pays if you do it right. It has paid me but it has to pay more” he added.
