Obaapa Christy has disclosed that she and Nana Ama McBrown are set to release a new song together.

The Ghanaian gospel singer revealed in an interview with Hammer Nti that the track has already been recorded but is not yet complete. She added that they will soon meet to finalise.

Praising McBrown’s diverse talents, she described the actress as an extraordinary woman capable of excelling in nearly anything she pursues.

“We’ve worked on the song; it’s in the pipeline but not fully complete yet. We’ll definitely sing it together, she has to do her part. That woman, if we leave her, she’ll end up doing everything herself,” Obaapa Christy said.

Their partnership follows McBrown’s memorable appearance at Obaapa Christy’s 20th-anniversary concert in 2022, where she delighted the crowd with an impromptu performance.

That night, McBrown showcased her musical side by performing “The Glory,” one of Obaapa Christy’s popular songs, leaving fans in awe of her versatility.

Before taking the stage, McBrown shared a heartfelt message about gratitude and faith, reminding the audience to cherish life regardless of challenges.

“Whenever I get an opportunity like this, I count my blessings and see the gift of life as very vital in whatever situation I find myself in. Whether good or bad, I don’t go to bed worrying about my problems because I leave them in the hands of God.

“It will take a very litigious person to have problems with me. So, if you are alive today, be grateful to God for the gift of life and leave everything else to Him because He is the one who knows tomorrow,” she said.
