Mexican WBO#1 Christian Medina (26-4, 19 KOs), 117.75, surprisingly captured the WBO bantamweight belt when he quickly decked previously unbeaten defending champ Yoshiki Takei (11-1, 9 KOs), 118, in the first round and halted him at 1:41 of the fourth round on Sunday in Nagoya, Japan.
