    Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, has publicly thrown his weight behind fellow musician Shatta Wale’s ride-hailing service, Shaxi.

    Even though they have both had their differences in times past, Sarkodie publicly describe Shatta’s Shaxi as the most reliable transportation platform in the country currently.

    In the post he shared on his Facebook page on Thursday, July 17, 2025, Sarkodie encouraged both locals and visitors to Ghana to choose Shaxi for their transportation needs whenever they are in the country.

    Sharing a video of a Shaxi-branded vehicle on the move, the rapper wrote: “When you touch Gh 🇬🇭 make sure you only use the best and most reliable ride-hailing app @SHAXIGHANA 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.”

    Shaxi was launched in December 2021 by dancehall star Shatta Wale and ever since the launch, it has seen a steady growth to become a favorite among Ghanaian commuters, particularly for its focus on creating job opportunities for the youth and its strong local identity.

    Sarkodie’s endorsement comes at a time when the brand continues to make headlines for its innovations and collaborations, including its recent partnership with the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) to boost employment through transportation.
