Golden Kick FC head coach Fiifi Parker Hanson is proud of his team’s achievement in reaching the FA Cup final, despite suffering a 2-1 defeat to Asante Kotoko.

Hanson believes that playing in the final has been a valuable experience for his side.

“Playing in the final of the FA Cup has been a great value and a great achievement for the team,” Hanson said. He emphasised that the experience gained from participating in the final is more important than the outcome.

Hanson revealed that his team focused on their own preparations, without paying much attention to their opponents.

“Our focus was not on Asante Kotoko but on ourselves,” he said. “We did not even watch their matches during preparation for the final.”

The FA Cup final appearance is a significant milestone for Golden Kick FC, and Hanson is likely to build on this experience to drive future success. Asante Kotoko, meanwhile, will represent Ghana in the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup.
