Rightset Ghana has announced a community-focused celebration of World Table Tennis Day, set to take place on April 25, 2026, at 9:00am in Ashongman.
The event will be hosted at The Big House Table Tennis Club, located opposite the Ashongman Community Hospital, and aims to promote grassroots participation and development of the sport. Activities will feature exhibition matches and friendly competitions involving several local clubs.
Participating teams include The Big House TT Club of New Ashongman, Blue Rose TT Club of Kasoa, Ping Hopes of Nungua, Vilcabamba of Kasoa, Chokor TT Club, and Madina TT Club.
Organisers say the event will bring together players of all skill levels while encouraging youth involvement and community engagement through table tennis.
The celebration is supported by SpinSight ESN Digital and the ITTF Foundation, highlighting a broader effort to grow the sport and foster social inclusion through recreational activities across Ghana.
