In a rematch, WBC interim lightweight champion William “El Camarón” Zepeda (33-0, 27 KOs) scored a twelve round majority decision over former IBF super featherweight champion Tevin “2X” Farmer (33-8-1, 8 KOs) on Saturday night at the Poliforum Benito Juárez in Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico. After getting a controversial win over Farmer in their first fight, Zepeda was hell bent on performing better this time. The game Farmer injured his left hand in the first round, but withstood relentless pressure from Zepeda and held his own for the full twelve rounds. Scores were 114-114, 116-112, 115-113.

Unified WBA/WBO minimumweight champion Oscar “El Pupilo” Collazo (12-0, 9 KOs) retained his titles with a fifth round knockout against Edwin “Canito” Cano (13-3-1, 4 KOs). A body shot took out Cano at 1:12.

Flyweight Joselito “El Huracán” Velázquez (21-1-1, 13 KOs) scored a hard fought ten round unanimous decision over Adolfo Castillo (12-4-2, 7 KOs). Scores were 100-89, 100-89, 97-92.

Making his Golden Boy debut, unbeaten cruiserweight Robin “Robz” Safar (18-0, 13 KOs) impressively stopped Roberto Silva (13-4, 7 KOs) with a barrage of punches in round five. Time was 2:55.

In a female flyweight clash between former world champions, Yokasta Valle (33-3, 10 KOs) won a ten round split decision over Marlen Esparza (15-3, 1 KO). Scores were 96-94 Esparza, 97-93, 97-93 Valle.
