Charles Bissue is a former presidential staffer and 2024 NPP candidate for Essikado-Ketan Charles Bissue is a former presidential staffer and 2024 NPP candidate for Essikado-Ketan

Charles Bissue, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Essikado-Ketan, is not holding back in his critique of Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, over the recent AirMed controversy.

Speaking on The Forum on Asaase Radio, Bissue accused Kwakye Ofosu of undermining the authority of President John Mahama with his recent comments on the issue.

“I think there are a lot more questions to be answered. And Felix Kwakye Ofosu arrogantly coming out and I think he is not just disrespecting Ghanaians, he is disrespecting the President and exposing the President.

“I am not saying the President is bad, but I think he is exposing him,” Bissue stated bluntly.

The AirMed saga has sparked political debate, with critics demanding clarity and responsibility from those in government. However, Bissue believes that how Kwakye Ofosu has handled the situation only makes matters worse.

“Once that is done and a communique has to come out all of them have to sit together before he the Communications Minister comes out to speak but then if you come out to say that if I were the president this is what I would have done this means that the President is naked,” he added.
