If you think music does not pay, then Wendy Shay has something to tell you.

The Ghanaian singer shed light on the financial power of digital music platforms, revealing that her weekly income from streaming continues to soar.

During an interview on Adom TV, the ‘Heaven’ singer said she consistently earns thousands of dollars every week from various streaming outlets, though she typically avoids discussing her personal finances publicly.

“I don’t like to talk about my finances on air, but I receive thousands of dollars every week,” Wendy Shay disclosed.

She further revealed that a significant portion of her earnings recently came from YouTube, noting a single payout that caught her attention.

“I was there this week when $10,000 dropped from YouTube, and that’s just YouTube alone,” Wendy divulged.

According to her, the steady demand for her music is what drives these returns. She explained that songs remain accessible, are streamed daily, and generate revenue continuously, making such weekly earnings possible.
