Sammy Flex, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for dancehall musician Shatta Wale, has fired back at DJ Slim over a recent tweet perceived as a jab at Shatta.
Recently in a post on X, DJ Slim criticised Shatta Wale, referencing his frequent claims that Stonebwoy earns little to nothing from international shows.
DJ Slim argued that, despite Shatta’s claims, Stonebwoy has remained consistent and continues to perform on major international stages.

Slim claimed that while Shatta Wale often boasts of superiority, he continues to perform in “the bushes,” unlike Stonebwoy, who has maintained a steady presence on recognised global platforms.
However, reacting to DJ Slim’s remarks, Sammy Flex, in a discussion on his YouTube channel on September 12, 2025, accused Slim of lacking a proper understanding of the entertainment industry.
“I have seen everything happening in this entertainment industry, so sometimes I get worried when I see people making comments from a place of ignorance. I saw DJ Slim’s tweet, and I was surprised it came from him. For someone who has worked with great people in the industry, I expected better,” he stated.
Sammy Flex further described DJ Slim as shallow-minded, adding that his recent commentary lacked substance.
“What at all does he want to achieve through the mockery? You will sometimes see him posting something, and he thinks he has said something important, but most of them are nonsense and lies… He thinks he has said something sensible… This is a pity,” he added.
