Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale has congratulated Black Sherif on the release of his ‘Iron Boy’ album and addressed the controversies surrounding one of the songs.

Following the album’s release, some netizens tagged one of the tracks as a diss song directed at Shatta Wale, with whom Black Sherif has not had the best relationship in recent times.

Netizens analysed the lyrics of Black Sherif’s Where Dem Boyz and speculated that it was aimed at Shatta, urging the dancehall artiste to respond fiercely, as is typical of his nature.

However, in contrast to expectations, Shatta Wale rather advised Black Sherif not to pay attention to the ongoing propaganda on social media.

Shatta pointed out that he hasn’t heard Black Sherif mention his name in the song, yet netizens are claiming it’s a diss directed at him.

He stated that this only shows how negatively some Ghanaians can think.

“If you follow Ghanaians, you will even think God is your enemy… I’ve never heard you say Shatta Wale this, Shatta that, but as usual, those unemployed Ghanaians are trying to push an agenda.

“Congrats on this masterpiece, little one… Go hard and don’t stop…,” Shatta Wrote on Twitter.

Shatta Wale also emphasised that his current focus is on making money from his career, rather than getting involved in unnecessary drama.

“I’m too bank-minded for nonsense… Just do your thing, my G !!!! SM4LYF,” he added.

Meanwhile, netizens who came across Shatta Wale‘s post are astounded by his smooth and calm response, rather than the usual venting they anticipated.

Black Sherif’s ‘Where Dem Boyz’, which sits as track 10 on his album, has sparked considerable discussion online.

Some netizens have speculated that the song may be directed at Shatta Wale, citing their social media feud from November 2024 as the possible reason.
