Prophet Emmanuel Akwasi Boakye, popularly known as ‘Ogyaba,’ has responded to critics condemning him over his recent scandal.

In a podcast discussion on January 30, 2025, Prophet Ogyaba made it clear that he is unfazed by the immense social media backlash.

In response to Evangelist Diana Asamoah’s stern criticisms, he established that she and other netizens have no right to judge him for his past mistakes.

According to Prophet Ogyaba, as long as the most important people in his life; God and his wife, have forgiven him, he is unbothered with the opinions of others.

“Those people online who are my enemies, I don’t give a damn about them. I am not living my life to suit you. I haven’t killed anyone; the only mistake I made was sinning against my God and wife, and they’ve forgiven me,” he said.

Ogyaba continued, “I’m sure you haven’t even had a bath this evening, and you’re chasing after someone’s husband. I heard Diana Asamoah insulting me. She should be careful because what happened to me could happen to her. Is it in Ghana’s constitution that people who have an affair should be killed? If I’ve learned from my mistake, who are you to judge me? If I couldn’t deal with this, I would face it later. No person born of a woman can bring me down.”

Addressing Diana Asamoah directly, Ogyaba issued a word of caution to her.

“Diana Asamoah, you haven’t been married yet. You’ll one day get married and have children. If you think you won’t face any challenges, who are you to judge me? When I heard her insulting me, I was surprised,” he added.

Prophet Ogyaba also disclosed that one of his colleagues is currently facing a similar situation; being “blackmailed” by a woman he had an affair with.

“There is a pastor in Kasoa who called me crying about going through the same thing. I told him to come out and speak his truth. He cried to the point where I forgot my own issue just to console him. So, when I heard Diana Asamoah speaking about me, I just said to God, ‘Please look after her,’” he concluded.

    Background

Cassie, Prophet Ogyaba’s ex-side chick, took to social media with allegations, including claims of neglect, and threats to her life. She also exposed their extramarital affair, which included a pregnancy.

She supported her claims with a series of audios and videos, trying to gain public sympathy and portray herself as the victim.

    Ogyaba’s response

Prophet Ogyaba admitted to the affair but emphasised that, like any human, he is prone to mistakes.

In a live session with TikTok influencers, he explained that the relationship soured when Cassie claimed she was pregnant with twins, became demanding, and insisted on moving into his home.

He said after spending millions on her, he paid GH¢60,000 for her rent and GH¢20,000 for furnishings, as his wife was returning soon.

Prophet Ogyaba also denied Cassie’s claim of staying with him for four months, stating that it was only one.

After she moved out, he said Cassie asked for money to cover medical expenses for fibroids and also requested money for a pregnancy pillow, among other things, but he became suspicious.

Prophet Ogyaba added that Cassie continued to spend his money, and after he sent a cease-and-desist letter, her uncle later claimed she lost the pregnancy from a fall.

He, however, believes her allegations are an act of blackmail.

He then urged people not to judge him, adding that as a man of God, he is still human.
