A Nigerian woman was shocked by her son’s response after she asked whether he could marry someone like her in the future.

The mother @adunbarinmatoshi02 unexpectedly asked her son, David, whether he would consider marrying a woman like her when they were strolling down the street.

Rather than responding directly, he enumerated his mother’s positive traits and explained why he didn’t want to marry a woman of her kind.

He said, “I can actually. You are intelligent, smart, and beautiful. You are a giver, but you are very masculine and too stubborn for me.”

Hearing her son’s justification and response to her unexpected question shocked her.

He responded uncertainly when she asked if he didn’t pray for a woman like her.

Internet users speculated that her son’s response was based on how she treated his father. While some suggested he wanted a woman with his mum’s qualities, but a calm personality, others advised that the woman act more feminine.

    See comments below,

@Sir Chris maybe He is not happy the way you treat his father

@AaLiyah I swear he’s matured; he’s definitely a man now, not just a boy. Love you son

@mosesojochenemiha “You are very masculine. You are too stubborn for me!”😂😂😂 I love his sincerity and his intelligence. Truth is we men are attracted to femininity

@ashiwaju123d that means his father is endure a lot from you that your son notice.
