Ghanaian youngster Yaw Yeboah delivered a standout performance with a goal and an assist as Qingdao Hainiu secured a 3-1 win over Shanghai Port in round 9 of the Chinese Super League at the Qingdao Youth Football Stadium.

The home side made a bright start, taking the lead inside nine minutes through Senwen Luo. However, Shanghai Port responded after the break, with Xi Yang Alex equalising in the 47th minute to set up a tense contest.

Yeboah then took control of the game, restoring Qingdao’s lead in the 68th minute with a well-taken finish to put his side back in front.

The Ghanaian winger was not done yet, as he turned provider seven minutes later, setting up Jin Yonghao to score the third goal and seal a convincing victory for the hosts.

Since joining the “Sea Bulls” earlier this year, the former Black Meteors captain has made an immediate impact and continues to show promising form as he looks to maintain his impressive start in the league.
