Xi Jinping and the hallmark of the “City of CIIE”

Every city has its character. Indeed, openness, innovation and inclusiveness have become the hallmark of Shanghai. They are also a vivid reflection of China in the new era and its commitment to development and progress.

While attending the opening ceremony of the first CIIE in 2018, President Xi Jinping enthusiastically promoted the hallmark of Shanghai to the world.

The 7th CIIE will be held in Shanghai from Nov. 5 to 10.
