The running order
Circa three minutes to go until tonight’s show gets underway, and PWInsider have revealed the running order for what lies ahead.
We will be starting with the triple threat title match in a matter of minutes, after the shenanigans that I am sure await the opening.
Two of the champs
Jey Uso won his first world title last night, while Tiffany Stratton retained hers with the biggest win of her career.
Here’s a happy snap of the duo. Both have been criticised, but showed out last night.
Exclusive:Dominik Mysterio speaks ahead of title match
Alex has been out an about in Vegas this weekend talking to all the stars – including Dominik Mysterio.
The man everyone loves to hate could win his first main roster singles gold tonight, going into his interncontinental title match as favourite to win the belt.
He has been speaking to our man about hating CM Punk, coming out of his dad’s shadow, and his on-screen love traingle with Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan.
A bit of fun on WWE socials earlier, with a number of stars picking who they think will win tonight’s main event.
Jey Uso, Austin Theory, Damian Priest and Solo Sikoa all feature.
Logan Paul’s reaction to night one main event
I’m still not fully over last night’s dramatic main event. Was one for the ages.
Logan Paul is in action tonight against AJ Styles, but he appeared to love it too. Here’s his reaction, which he shared on X.
Someone who has interacted with all three men involved in the match last night, of course.
Bischoff: ‘John Cena hasn’t gone that far’
I don’t know if John is resisting embracing the heel character, or if it’s been decided that he doesn’t want to go too far. The risk of going too far for John would be that it’ll be hard for him to come back from. So if he goes full fledged heel, starts biting the heads off chickens and slapping babies on the way to the ring, flat out ugly heel, how do you come back from that?
He hasn’t gone that far. Even his appearance. If you turn off the volume, forget about everything that’s happened up until today, go back and watch John Cena over the last couple of weeks and go look at him in 2005 – same guy.
“So there hasn’t been a physical representation of this character turn. It’s all been narrative to this point, which tells me one of two things.
Tonight’s card
If I had to pick, I would say tonight’s card is the better of the two. Headlined, of course, by John Cena bidding to win a record 17th world title against Cody Rhodes.
Here’s the rundown of tonight’s line-up:
Iyo Sky vs Bianca Belair vs Rhea Ripley
AJ Styles vs Logan Paul
Bron Breakker vs Penta vs Finn Balor vs Dominik Mysterio
Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez vs Lyra Valkyria
Drew McIntyre vs Damian Priest
Randy Orton vs ???
Cody Rhodes vs John Cena
Night one was a bit up and down in all honesty, but had a killer main event that absolutely stole the show.
Seven matches, three title changes, one major twist and a lot of good fun overall. Let’s hope for the same tonight.
Alex McCarthy is our man on the ground at Allegiant Stadium, and he wrapped up the results and events with some of his expert analysis. You can read that here, or click below.
We’re back for night two!
We’re back, and we’re ready to do it all over again!
