Ric Flair has revealed he was banned from attending WrestleMania 42 after threatening to attack a rookie wrestler who taunted his daughter over her divorces.

The wrestling legend opened up on his explosive feud with Ludwig Kaiser, real name Marcel Barthel, during an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show on Wednesday.

Kaiser, 35, irked Flair after brutally mocking his daughter Ashley – whose WWE alias is Charlotte Flair – during a segment with his then-girlfriend Tiffany Stratton roughly one year ago.

‘I didn’t get invited to WrestleMania this year,’ Flair told Helwani about last weekend’s WWE showpiece. ‘I threatened to beat up Tiffany Stratton’s husband. A 24-year-old kid being threatened by a 76-year-old man – and I can’t go to WrestleMania? Are you kidding me?’

Flair, who is now 77, fell short of Kaiser’s real age by 10 years. The German star was 34 when he took aim at Ashley over her three real-life divorces, which ramped up a feud between her and Stratton ahead of WrestleMania 41 last year.

‘They had that thing where Tiffany made smart remarks about Ashley’s divorces, which we both know she’s not smart enough to have written, somebody gave her the script,’ Flair claimed.

‘He [Kaiser] implied that he wouldn’t “bum one” off Ashley. Okay, I need your number, and I got it, because I can get anyone’s number that I want any minute of any day.

‘I called him. I said, “Hey, when I see you, I’m gonna beat the s*** out of you.” He went like a little b****, told Hunter [Hearst Helmsley, WWE Chief Content Officer] and I wasn’t allowed to go.’

Flair went on to rubbish Kaiser’s chances of carving out a successful career in the WWE, predicting that he will soon be a ‘fly on the wall’ in the industry.

‘He’s gonna really go far in the business,’ he continued. ‘A 76-year-old man telling a 24-year-old kid he’s gonna kick his a**, and where is he now? Is he even on the roster?’

The WWE great concluded his rant by branding Kaiser a ‘little punk’.

Around the time of their dispute, Flair was undergoing a terrifying battle with skin cancer.

He first sparked fears in June when he announced that he was battling the disease for a second time, before pulling out of a scheduled meet-and-greet in Mississippi roughly a week later.

At the end of the month Flair then told fans that surgery was ‘coming up’ while asking them to keep him in his prayers and sharing a photo of his stomach, which appeared to have a number of sutures in from previous treatment.

But fortunately, three weeks after that post the ‘Nature Boy’ returned to social media to confirm that the op was a success, meaning he got the better of skin cancer once again.

Flair shared a photo of himself sporting bandages on his forehead and left arm in a medical facility and wrote: ‘Thank You Academic Alliance In Dermatology! I’m Now Cancer Free! WOOOOO!’

Fans flooded the comments with tributes to Flair, including one who wrote: ‘Thank God!!!! Diamonds are forever, and so is Ric Flair’.

‘To many more healthy years, Naitch!! WOOOO,’ said another.

‘Let’s gooooo!! Keep Going Naitch,’ posted a third.

While one simply commented: ‘WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!’
