Media personality and broadcaster MzGee has urged women facing fertility challenges to focus on their mindset and faith while navigating medical and social pressures.

Speaking at the Stronger Together Women’s Health Conference, she recounted the setbacks she endured before welcoming her son in January 2025, including miscarriage, a foiled pregnancy, and months on ovulation medication.

While doctors’ reports were important, she stressed that a woman’s outlook during the waiting period could make all the difference.

“I used to ask myself, what are you saying to yourself? What are you doing?” she said.

She explained that she turned to prayer, singing, and affirmations of faith even when medical results seemed bleak.

On her Gee O’Clock show earlier this year, she shared her journey through divorce, societal pressure, and eventual motherhood, revealing that the harshest words often came from other women.

“At every turn, it was women asking, ‘When will you marry again? When will you have a child? What are you waiting for?’ The pressure was constant, and most of the time, it wasn’t from men but from women,” she recalled.

MzGee, who announced on February 27, 2025, that she had been separated for three years and officially divorced for two, said the constant judgment showed how unforgiving society can be, particularly toward women navigating personal struggles.

She urged her peers to break that cycle.

“Instead of tearing each other down, let’s learn to give people breathing space. You don’t know the battles someone is fighting. Show love, not pressure,” she said.
