A woman climbing with a group in the Blue Mountains National Park has suffered head injuries after falling about 30 metres from a cliff.

Emergency services were called to Ben Travado Wall off the Sublime Point Walking Track at Leura around 11am on Saturday.

A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance said the woman, believed to be in her 30s, had been with a group when the incident occurred.

‘We are about to winch a critical care paramedic into the scene from a helicopter,’ they said.

Multiple ambulance crews, including special operations paramedics, are at the scene treating the woman for head and arm injuries.

More to come.
