A woman has been found dead at a popular beach in Sydney‘s north.
The woman’s body was found at Mona Vale beach, in the Northern Beaches region of Sydney, on Thursday.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation is underway into the woman’s death.
The woman, who has yet to be identified, was found with stab wounds to her body, 2GB reported.
Several police vehicles and a NSW Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
Officers and investigators were at the scene on Thursday morning and had cordoned off a section of Mona Vale beach with police tape.
