Vitor Pereira was fired following poor run of results

Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers have dismissed head coach Vitor Pereira following the club’s dismal start to the season.

The decision comes after Wolves suffered a 3–0 defeat to Fulham at Craven Cottage on November 1, 2025, compounding their poor run of form.

The club has endured its worst start in history, going winless in their first ten games for two consecutive seasons.

According to British media outlet talkSPORT, Pereira was recently involved in a heated confrontation with some of the club’s fans following a string of disappointing results.

Reports indicate that he angrily shouted at frustrated supporters after a loss to Burnley and had to be restrained and led away from the stands.

Travelling Wolves fans at Fulham on Saturday were also heard chanting “sacked in the morning” at Pereira as they voiced their frustration.

Pereira had signed a contract extension in September 2025 that was expected to keep him at the club until 2028. However, the agreement has now been terminated due to the team’s poor performance.

After 10 matches, Wolves sit at the bottom of the Premier League table in 20th place with just two points.
