AGON’s former world champion William Scull (23-1, 9 KOs) is looking to get back on track! The super middleweight will return to the ring on January 31, 2026. At the Sydbank Arena in Kolding, Denmark, the Cuban AGON pro will face the undefeated Jacob Bank (17-0, 9 KOs) in “Primetime Fight Night Vol. 6.” The Dane is internationally recognized as an up-and-coming talent who is aiming for the biggest victory of his career in front of his home crowd. Just in mid-September, he defeated the German former WBA world champion Tyron Zeuge by a margin.

For Scull, this fight is far more than just a sporting duel; it’s his return to the big stage. After his courageous but ultimately lost undisputed world championship challenge against Canelo Alvarez, the 33-year-old former IBF world champion has refocused and is determined to work hard toward his comeback. Now he wants to prove that he remains among the world’s elite in the super middleweight division.

Former IBF champion William Scull on his upcoming challenge: “The loss to Canelo was an experience that made me stronger. I learned a lot, and now I’m back, more focused and determined than ever. Jacob Bank is a young, hungry boxer, but I’ll show him that experience and class make the difference.”

AGON promoter Ingo Volckmann is optimistic about the start of the year: “William is one of the best super middleweights in the world. After the fight against Canelo, it was clear: he’ll come back stronger. The fight in Denmark is a test case. If he wins here, he’ll be right back among the world’s elite.”

The battle between Scull and Bank promises to be a technically high-class duel. With a win, Scull hopes to position himself for another World Championship opportunity and once again challenge for the top spot.
