A wild police chase has come to a dramatic end after shots were allegedly fired from an allegedly stolen vehicle.
Queensland Police received reports the allegedly stolen car drove at a cop car on Currie Street in Nambour at 11am on Thursday.
The vehicle then fled the scene before the passenger exited the vehicle and was arrested by police.
The allegedly stolen car was then spotted driving dangerously on the Bruce Highway at Noosa Heads before it was found abandoned.
The alleged driver is accused of stealing a second car, a gold Toyota with a child’s seat and baby blankets in the back, before firing shots from the vehicle.
The second man was eventually arrested after police spotted the vehicle at Smoke Bush Drive.
Multiple firearms were also seized.
No one was injured.

Police briefly declared an emergency zone under the Public Safety Preservation Act before it was lifted a short time later.
Police believe there is no further threat to the public.
Investigations into the ordeal continue.
A section of Smoke Bush Drive, close to Noosa Springs Golf and Spa Resort has been taped off.
Local resident Britta Jennings told Courier Mail that neighbours were unaware of the incident until they heard helicopters overhead.
