Black Stars legend Sulley Muntari has shared his thoughts on the world’s top coaches, and his verdict is clear; Jose Mourinho stands head and shoulders above the rest.
Having played under the Portuguese tactician during his time at Inter Milan, Muntari has firsthand experience of Mourinho’s managerial prowess and had no hesitation in declaring him the “best coach in the world” during a live session on his Instagram page.
The former Inter Milan midfielder engaged with his fans in a question-and-answer session, and when asked by one of the fans about his experience with Jose Mourinho, Muntari was full of praise.
He lauded the Portuguese manager for his exceptional skills and confidently picked him as the best in the world.
“Mourinho is the best coach in the world, so you can imagine the experience was amazing,” he said.
Muntari played over 90 games under Mourinho at Inter Milan, scoring eight goals and providing ten assists. The midfielder was also part of the Inter Milan team that won the treble in 2010.
He won eight major titles with the Italian club between 2008 and 2012, including two Serie A titles and one Champions League.
