Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has questioned Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah after the latter called for President John Dramani Mahama to remove IGP Dr George Akuffo Dampare from office.
In a video sighted by GhanaWeb on February 20, 2025, Nana Agradaa noted that Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo Dampare had done nothing wrong to be forcibly removed from office.
She emphasised that Owusu-Bempah is speaking out of bitterness because Dampare arrested him for threatening her life.
“What is your interest if the NDC government decides to maintain Dampare for the next four years? You are calling for his removal because you brandished guns and knives to threaten me, which the law doesn’t permit, and nobody is above the law… He arrested you because of what you did,” she said.
Agradaa reiterated that despite Dampare issuing her arrest, she still respects him because the IGP was only doing his job.
“IGP Dampare made me spend 40 days in cells, but that doesn’t mean I am going to hate him. I will never hate the IGP because whatever happened to me was influenced by powerful people above him. I know he wouldn’t have treated me the way he did if he wasn’t asked to do so,” she noted.
Agradaa further called Owusu-Bempah a false prophet after he publicly disclosed that the Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, influenced him to dislike the then-opposition leader, John Dramani Mahama.
“You are claiming that the same Chairman Wontumi made you dislike John Mahama, and you stood on your altar to falsely prophesy about Mahama, meanwhile, you are a liar,” she added.
