A lady expresses disappointment about her boyfriend’s display at the NYSC cultural festival, highlighting that his fellow male corpers represented their platoon wearing royal attire while he chose to be a masquerade.

Sharing on TikTok, the lady @vic3_chioma documented varying clips that featured his fellow corpers dressed in royal regalia and the female corpers posing as their spouses to represent their platoon and certain ethnic groups at their orientation camp cultural festival.

In a later clip, she revealed a video of her boyfriend performing as a masquerade on the floor while being thrashed by an unidentified individual, to represent a deity and entertain the audience.

Seeing her guy in an unexpected display when he could have symbolized royalty like his other male corpers made her question why hers was always different.

While some shared similar experiences, others suggested it was no shame since his identity wasn’t revealed.
