Ghanaian musician Article Wan has criticised Charterhouse for not adequately recognising some musicians in the country, including himself.

In an interview with Abeiku Santana on January 23, 2025, Article Wan emphasised that this lack of support is hindering the growth of the industry.

“If I look at what I can offer the world, I know I have something Ghanaians aren’t paying attention to. It hurts because I can perform abroad and have the crowd jamming, yet my own country isn’t supporting me the same way.

“Why aren’t these people amplifying their own? They’re sabotaging the work. I’m saying this because I have something big to contribute,” he said.

He, however, made an appeal to Charterhouse.

“If they give me the chance to perform, I will give my best. I know what I have because I’ve been in the game for a long time. But it feels like Ghanaians aren’t paying attention to me.

“I’m saying this out of love for my country, I don’t want to take this elsewhere. We need to amplify what we have. So, Charterhouse should give me the chance to perform,” he added.
