Nana Agradaa is the founder of the Heaven Way Church
Although currently serving a jail term, Nana Agradaa, also known as Evangelist Mama Pat, was expected to appear before the Accra High Court on October 21, 2025, for the continuation of a separate case involving Osofo Appiah Biblical.
According to Angel FM’s legal correspondent Ama Brako Ampofo, who was present at the courthouse, Agradaa was transported to the premises under heavy security ahead of the scheduled 12 p.m. sitting.
The founder of Heaven Way Champion International was brought in a police vehicle through the underground tunnel typically used to escort prisoners into the courtroom.

Her husband, Angel Asiamah, was also present with their lawyer, waiting for proceedings to commence.
“Because she’s in prison custody, she was brought through the tunnel. The court was scheduled to sit at 12 p.m. When we arrived, her lawyer and her husband, Asiamah, were already present. From what I gathered, she had already been brought in but remained in a police vehicle underground, where prisoners are typically held,” Ampofo reported.
However, the hearing could not take place as the judge originally assigned to the case had recently been promoted to the Court of Appeal.
A replacement had not yet been appointed, resulting in the adjournment of the trial to November 11, 2025.
“The judge who was supposed to preside over the case was among those recently promoted from the High Court to the Court of Appeal,” the reporter mentioned.
The legal dispute between Agradaa and Osofo Appiah Biblical dates back to 2021, when explicit images of Appiah Biblical were allegedly shown on Thunder TV (now Today TV).
The broadcast on Agradaa’s TV station, which was linked to a feud over a sum of GH¢10,000, led to her being charged under Cybersecurity Act for the possession and distribution of indecent material.
She was arrested and later granted bail of GH¢200,000 with two sureties on July 18, 2024.
