Wofa K, is Chairman of the NPP, UK branch

Kingsley Adumattah Agyapong, also known as Wofa K, Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), United Kingdom branch, has urged the elephant family’s leadership and supporters not to be complacent ahead of the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.

He believed that, while there was hope for victory, they should not enter the elections complacently.

He emphasised that campaigning must be strengthened to guarantee that Ghanaians support the NPP’s ideas and initiatives, led by presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The efforts underway must be commended because the campaigning activities have yielded some level of results with the people following Bawumia being “genuine organic people” and not bused people.

“This is a constituency-by-constituency retail campaign, and you could see how many people from each constituency participated in the exercise. It has expanded our base and increased public awareness of Dr. Bawumia’s effort. He not only visits these locations, but he also inspires people with his daring, sound, and practical answers. Pastors, imams, and other leaders have bought into his vision and are backing him because they believe he can help build the country, he said.

But he was quick to add that the party must leave no stone unturned in ensuring the massive victory for the NPP come December 7, 2024.10.26

Wofa K, speaking to Sir Richie on the ‘As it is in Ghana’ broadcast on Rainbow Radio 92.4FM, UK, stated that Dr. Bawumia’s digitisation strategy was critical since it aligned with Ghana’s transformational vision for the fourth industrial revolution.

”He wants Ghana to move into the digital era, and we must support him. He is the one who will transform this country. But the NPP must not become complacent. We must work hard to ensure a decisive victory. To be honest, Ghanaians believe in our vision; however, this does not excuse us from doing more. I’d like to take this opportunity to remind everyone, especially our external branches and supporters, that every party has zero until the elections start, are counted, and declared. So our constituency adoption teams should effectively assess the grounds and ensure that whatever little we can do to influence the bases works in our favour,” he said.
