Kwaw Kese is thinking beyond music and eyeing a seat in Parliament, but he insists the timing has to be right. The veteran Hiplife artiste says he will only take the plunge once he is financially ready.

During an interview with George Quaye on JoyPrime TV, he talked about his political ambitions.

“Yeah. When I get enough money, then I will,” he said when asked if he had plans to go into politics.

Kwaw Kese revealed that his first step would be local. He wants to serve the people of his hometown and launch his political journey as a Member of Parliament.

“I would start as an MP. Yeah. I’d represent my people, Agona Swedru,” he opened up.

He also shared who he would lean on for guidance. Musician and political activist Kwame A Plus, from a neighbouring area, is someone he trusts for advice and support.

“If I want to enter politics, A Plus is my neighbour, Gomoa and Agona, so I can tap into his blessings, I can seek advice,” Kwaw Kese further stated.
