One of Ghana’s most esteemed traditional chiefs, Togbe Afede XIV, the Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, has pledged his unwavering support for President John Dramani Mahama and praised his outstanding performance thus far in his second term. In an interview on Joy News, Togbe Afede, who spoke just weeks after Mahama’s inauguration, expressed his opinions and highlighted the notable advancements he had observed in the new government. In contrast to his first tenure, President Mahama’s approach this time around is quicker and more efficient, Togbe Afede emphasized. In comparison to his previous term, he said, “His Excellency John Dramani Mahama is working at an unprecedented pace.” This remark demonstrated how much the leader expects the president to do in this new stage

Mahama’s connection with the ambitions of Ghanaians was also praised by the Agbogbomefia. He underlined that the public is feeling more optimistic as a result of the president’s prompt judgments and activities. “We are impressed by how quickly you do tasks. I think things will get better soon, and Ghanaians will be happy. “The response has been positive,” he said. Togbe Afede said he was confident in Mahama’s ability to govern, pointing out the president’s proactive approach to tackling important issues and resolving public concerns. His commendation is indicative of the broad positive response to Mahama’s initial efforts, especially in the areas of policy implementation, governance changes, and infrastructural development. Leaders like Togbe Afede’s ardent support of President Mahama as he enters his second term demonstrates the high hopes the country has put on
