Ghanaian music star Wendy Shay has officially announced the date for the 2026 edition of her annual musical event, the Shay Concert.
In a post shared across her social media pages, the award-winning singer revealed that this year’s edition of the concert will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at the West Hills Mall in Weija, Accra.
The announcement has already excited fans of the RuffTown Records signee, who have made the Shay Concert one of the most anticipated musical events on Ghana’s entertainment calendar.

As it has become the norm, the concert is expected to be packed with fun, thrilling performances, surprise appearances and memorable moments as Wendy Shay seeks to give her fans another unforgettable experience.
The event has grown significantly over the years, attracting thousands of music lovers and bringing together some of the biggest names in Ghanaian music to celebrate the country’s vibrant entertainment industry.
The 2025 edition, held at the same venue on November 22, attracted a massive crowd, with reports estimating that more than 100,000 fans attended the free concert.
The previous edition featured performances from top Ghanaian musicians, including Shatta Wale, Medikal, KiDi, Kelvyn Boy, Olivetheboy, Lasmid, Amerado and Sister Afia, among others.
Wendy Shay also delivered an energetic performance, treating patrons to songs from her catalogue and her Ready album, while surprise collaborations and an impressive stage production added to the excitement of the night.
With the 2026 edition now scheduled for November 21, expectations are already high regarding the artistes who will join the singer on stage and the new experiences she has planned for her supporters. However, details of this year’s performing artistes and other arrangements are yet to be confirmed.
The announcement also comes at a time when Wendy Shay continues to expand her musical catalogue with new releases.
Among her 2026 releases are ‘African King’, ‘Sofaya’ and ‘One Goal’, alongside her four-track 4PLAY EP, released in July. She also teamed up with fellow Ghanaian musician Lasmid on ‘Bendova’, released in September 2026.
These releases have added to the music surrounding her current run, with ‘Bendova’ bringing the two artistes together on an official collaboration.
Since launching the Shay Concert in 2018, Wendy Shay has continued to build the event into a major platform for live music and fan engagement. After the first two editions in 2018 and 2019, the concert returned in January 2023 at the West Hills Mall, drawing a large crowd and featuring performances from several Ghanaian artistes.
The event has since become an important part of Wendy Shay’s musical brand, offering her an opportunity to connect directly with her fans while celebrating the success of her career.
