Media personality and sports analyst Edem Tsotorme has called for more visible impact from the Black Star Experience initiative, stressing the need for proper investment and measurable results.
Speaking in a discussion on Hitz FM on January 20, 2026, Edem Tsotorme mentioned that although expectations are high, the true success of the Black Star Experience will depend on how well resources are managed and invested to create lasting impact.
According to him, it is important for stakeholders behind the initiative to ensure the right amount of funding is drawn down and channelled into projects that will yield tangible results.
“We just pray that they get the right amount of drawdown and do the right investment so that at the end of the day we will be able to tell the impact Black Star Experience brought,” he said.
Edem Tsotorme used a football analogy to explain what meaningful impact should look like.

He referenced AFC Bournemouth and Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo’s move to Manchester City, which he said produced immediate and visible results.
“Like the way Man U City signed Semenyo and we saw the instant impact,” he shared.
He stated that many observers are watching closely from the sidelines and expect more action and outcomes from the initiative.
“We are at the back and we want to see more from Black Star Experience,” he noted.
Edem Tsotorme further warned that while good performance would attract praise, failure to deliver visible results could attract heavy criticism, especially on social media.
“When you do well, we will praise you but if we don’t see anything, social media will press your neck so let’s hope for the best,” he added.
