The ongoing discussions around Shatta Wale’s recent detention by the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) continues as journalist Kwame Dadzie of the Multimedia Group addressed some concerns raised by Shatta Wale’s publicist, Sammy Flex.

Speaking on the Daybreak Hitz Entertainment Review Show on Hitz FM, Kwame Dadzie clarified that reports published on myjoyonline.com about Shatta Wale being investigated for alleged money laundering and other related offenses were not falsehoods as suggested by Sammy Flex.

He stated that instead, the report they made was only suggesting that Shatta Wale was only under investigations for those alleged crime and never made the conclusive statement that he was guilty.

“We only reported that he was being investigated over those offenses because that was what was captured in the communication from his team. We never passed judgment,” Kwame Dadzie said.

The host of Joy FM’s Rhythmz A-Z show also highlighted his professional relationship with Sammy Flex, describing him as a mentor who trained him during his early career at Flex Newspaper.

He stressed that the same principles of balanced and accurate reporting he learned from Sammy Flex were applied in their coverage of Shatta Wale’s current legal troubles.

The Multimedia journalist further reassured listeners and fans of Shatta Wale that the Group has always maintained objectivity in its coverage of the artist.
